Job Description

About the role:
Based in Hokitika and reporting to our Head of Automation, we are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer who is a strong problem solver and a great team-player with a depth of knowledge in automation/electrical/process instrumentation systems, networks and process control software. You will be well versed in the installation, maintenance and calibration of industrial instruments and possess a passion for optimising plant efficiency.
Responsibilities include: 
The design, installation, setup, programming and testing of systems/processes/machinery
Ability to use Honeywell DCS systems to perform daily tasks as required.
Be able to use Rockwell systems and AVEVA InTouch and System Platform.
Optimising plant efficiency by minimising downtime and minimising the R&M costs
Contributing to process improvement projects, including designing and developing new control systems, as well as overseein...
