Automation Engineer II

Overview

Job Description As an Automation Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will design, develop, and implement automation solutions to enhance process efficiency and reliability. Collaborate with skilled engineers and cross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement. You will report directly to our Adv Manufacturing Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our San Luis Potosí, Mexico location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine safety risk assessments and hazard analyses in accordance with ISO 13849 and applicable machinery safety standards.
• Define, design, and validate machine guarding solutions, including physical guarding, interlocks, light curtains, safety scanners, and emergency stop systems.
• Develop and implement functional safety architectures using safety PLCs and certified safety components.
