Automation Engineer: Industrial OT & Process Control

Based in Hokitika and reporting to our Automation Lead, we are looking for an experienced operations technology and factory Automation Engineer (permanent full-time) who is a strong problem solver and a great team-player with a depth of knowledge in automation & process instrumentation systems, OT networks and process control software. You will be well versed in the installation, maintenance and configuration of industrial control Servers & networks, have a background in SQL and data manipulation for reporting with focus on optimising plant efficiency.

Responsibilities

• The design, installation, setup, programming and testing of automation systems, infrastructure, processes & machinery
• Ability to configure use and maintain OT Virtual Systems (specifically vSphere clusters with ESXi Hosts and SANS).
• Have Network technology skill and ability to setup secure industrial Network Platforms (Cisco specific) as required.
