Job Description

Overview  
Cpl Life Sciences are looking to recruit an experienced Automation Engineer on behalf of a Biotechnology company, based in the Romandy area. We are looking for candidates with strong hands-on expertise in Syncade MES and DeltaV DCS to join on a contract basis. 
This is a hybrid role based in the Romandy area, requiring 3 days per week on site and 2 days remote. The initial contract is for 6 months, with a high likelihood of extension to 18–24 months. 
Key Responsibilities 
Configure and optimise Syncade recipes, electronic batch records (eBRs), and logbooks 
Design and implement DeltaV batch control logic 
Integrate Syncade MES with DeltaV DCS and related OT/IT systems 
Execute and document validation activities (URS, FS, DS, FAT, SAT, IOQ) 
Troubleshoot batch automation and MES execution issues 
Deliver clear documentation, SOPs, and handover materials
