Automation Manager

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the automation roadmap for IML packaging lines, covering robotics, PLC/HMI control, servo mechanisms, vision inspection, and downstream packaging devices.
• Maintain optimal uptime and operational performance of injection molding machines, IML robotics, label feeders, and supporting equipment.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for automation system design, integration, diagnostics, and future technology adoption.
• Troubleshoot complex automation issues, analyze downtime trends, and implement corrective actions to maximize equipment efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with Production and Maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations during mold changes, product swaps, and new label introductions.
• Lead initiatives to improve throughput, reduce scrap, save energy, and enhance product quality.
