Summary Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, Rio Grande Valley Sector, Mission Readiness Operations Division located in Falfurrias, TX. Responsibilities This position starts at an hourly rate of $43.77 (10, Step 1) to $51.07 (10, Step 5). As an Automotive Mechanic Supervisor, you will direct, supervise and are responsible for the maintenance, safety inspections and repair of motor vehicles within the fleet. Duties and responsibilities include: Planning, assigning, and directing work for a sector wide vehicle maintenance unit. Scheduling and approving leave, setting performance requirements, making performance appraisals, planning and initiating training, and maintaining production reports and records.
