QUALIFICATIONS:
+ High School Diploma
+ Enrolled in an accredited college or university
+ Strong Math and English background, evidenced by HS Transcript
REPORTS TO: AVID District Director/AVID Site Coordinator
JOB GOAL: To aid and support students and the District by providing tutoring services to AVID elective students.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Evaluate student binders, including calendars, class and textbook notes, etc.
+ Assist students in any subject area where help is needed.
+ Assist in teaching study skills and other skills needed for college preparation.
+ Conduct tutorial sessions in all areas.
+ Set an example of personal excellence and high expectations for AVID students to follow.
+ Communicate frequently and honestly with the AVID Site Coordinator/teacher regarding...
