Job Description
**Overview**
The AVP of Licensure oversees and directs departmental activities to ensure quality services both internal and external. Ensures facility compliance with all state and federal license, certification, and registration requirements. Works directly with senior leadership on updates to regulatory requirements and licensure and certification
**Essential Functions**
+ Provides strategic direction to the Licensure and Certification Department to achieve goals and vision of the company and the day-to-day operations.
+ Coordinates and ensures compliance of locations requirements including National Accreditation and Deeming Authorities, CMS, State, and other regulatory agencies
+ Stays current on all applicable regulatory changes and identify/communicate impact on company’s operations.
+ Provides advice, guidance and counsel to senior leadership regarding licensure and certification matters.
