Job Responsibilities
Business Development & Deal Origination:
Assist in identifying and developing Structured Trade Finance (STF) opportunities across APAC (including India)
Support the execution of strategies to grow trade finance flows, including receivables, payables, and conventional trade finance products.
Contribute to client acquisition and relationship management efforts in the commodities and energy sectors.
Credit & Deal Execution:
Work closely with internal stakeholders including the Credit Department to support deal structuring and approval processes.
Ensure high standards of credit quality and risk management for STF transactions.
Client Engagement & Coordination:
Collaborate with SMBC's global GTFD offices to support client coverage and knowledge sharing.
Act as a point of contact for regional teams, ensuring consistent client experience and product delivery.
