Job Description

                    Developing and maintaining commercial relationship with sponsors in Asia Ex-Japan 
Coordinating institutional relationship with sponsors across management and working/deal-level members and across sector/product verticals 
Identifying and originating deal opportunities from private equity clients with focus on credit solutions including leveraged finance, debt capital markets (bridge to bond), unitranche, TLBs, structured equity financings, fund finance, etc. 
The role would also liaise and co-work with SMBC group members to deliver financial solutions across different platforms including mergers & acquisitions, debt capital markets, mezzanine, etc. 
The role would provide selective execution support for fund-level transaction banking including credit lines, FX, deposits, remittances, etc.
