AWS - Cloud and Database Support Engineer

Role – AWS Cloud & Database Support Engineer
Location – Sydney, NSW
Contract Rate - $500 per day – Inc super
Work flexibility – 3 days on site, 2 days WFH
 
We’re seeking a Cloud support engineer to provide hands-on support for AWS and associated database environments for a well-known consultancy.
This will initially be for 12 months with a view to extending or going permanent.
 

Key responsibilities

• Monitor AWS servers for health, performance and security threats
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve technical issues within agreed SLA’s
• Provide support for databases (SQL, RDS, Oracle, MySQL)
• Monitor database performance, availability, and backups.
• Perform routine database maintenance: patching, upgrades, user management, and access provisioning
