AWS Kubernetes Engineer

**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **AWS Kubernetes Engineer** to join our team in **Virginia Beach, VA.** This is a **remote** position.

The AWS Kubernetes Engineer will be supporting an ambitious endeavor to reimagine how our customer, Naval Sea Systems, provides AWS cloud services to its customers. This includes deploying Kubernetes clusters and services in a modern, fully automated manner.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**

+ Design and implement production-grade Amazon EKS clusters across multi-region environments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/OpenTofu)
+ Implement Zero Trust networking using Service Meshes (Istio/Linkerd) and enforce compliance via Policy-as-Code tools
+ Serve as the final point of escalation for complex production outages
+ Mentor engineering colleagues on Kubernetes operations and principles
+ Create, maintain, and update relevant system documentation as required...
