AWS/CWI Inspector

📝 Job Overview:
We are currently hiring a Certified Welding Inspector (AWS-CWI) for a full-time opportunity in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for shop and field inspection of structural steel welds and bolting, and preferably possess NDT Level II certifications in UT, MT, and PT.

This position is ideal for professionals who have hands-on inspection experience and are looking to grow within a fast-paced construction and materials testing environment.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform field and shop inspections of structural steel welds and bolted connections

+ Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) using UT, MT, and PT methods (preferred)

+ Review and interpret structural drawings, welding procedures (WPS), and current building codes

+ Maintain detailed and accurate inspection records, reports, and RFIs

+ Coordinate effectively with project managers, contractors, and client representatives
