Axle Fitter

Job Description

Removal and replacement of axles, air boosters, air valves and pipes, drums,
springs, etc.

• Preload wheel bearings.


• Adjust brakes and brake shoes.


• Extensive knowledge of air system.


• Remove, diagnose and repair S-Cam bushes, slack adjusters, etc.


• Knowledge of torque arm bushes.


• Must have extensive practical experience and knowledge of the entire trailer and running suspension below deck.

Requirements

• 3 years’ experience


• Fully bilingual


• Own transport


• Able to work long hours and under pressure
