AXXIS Technician

Overview

The purpose of this role is to:

• Conduct quarterly inspections.
• Responsible for executing the installation of the centralised blasting system, supporting the active marketing of the centralised blasting system to underground customers to maximise BME and customers' value.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Diploma (Electrical/Electronic Engineering) and Trade test.

Advantageous:

• Certificate in CENTRALISED BLASTING SYSTEM installations
• Training qualification
• Underground blasting certificate

Experience

• 3 years of demonstrated experience in an underground operational / explosives mining environment
• 3 years demonstrated experience in Underground blasting systems (CENTRALISED BLASTING SYSTEM)
• 3 years on-the-job electrical installations
