Job Description
GFL Environmental is looking for AZ/DZ licensed drivers for our location based out of Ottawa.
We are an integrated environmental services company providing industrial, commercial, utilities, institutional, residential, and municipal customers with leading-edge solutions to a variety of environmental and waste-handling problems.
Successful candidates will drive & operate a variety of our industrial trucks/units, such as: • Combination units. • Power vacuum units, • Hydro excavation units. • Box trucks • Roll-off bin units • High-pressure water blasters. • Tractor trailers (AZ/DZ drivers)
Key Responsibilities: Oversee cargo handling and secure loads, including equipment preparation, application of safe practices, compliance with applicable Acts and regulations. Perform trip inspections on equipment operated and load, ensuring safety and roadworthiness. Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage ...
