Azure Data Engineer

A client in SA is seeking an
Azure Data Engineer
as follows

Responsibilities:

• To design and build data pipelines in MS Azure Cloud
• Build ETL / ELT into Data Lakes and Data Warehouses
• Manage the Azure Cloud Services platform
• Assist Data Analysts and DevOps where needed with Modelling etc.

Skill Requirements:

• At least 4 - 5 yrs exp. in Data Engineering
• Exp. in Azure Databases (SQL), ADF, MS Fabric, OneLake, ADLS
• Understand Data Security (incl. row-level) and its impact on the presentation layer
• Understand Containerization (Docker/ Kubernetes) and Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines)
• A Comp. Science / Eng. degree and relevant MS certs are a major plus
  (not required)

Work Arrangement:

• This is an initial
  3 month full time contract
  starting ASAP
• On a
  remote work basis
