Backend Developer [JAVA]

GlowFishLabs is seeking a Backend Developer with in-depth experience building solutions across tiers such as application tier, backend (storage), and front-end. If this is you, you'll join us in our effort to create extraordinary cloud-based web and mobile products.

Responsibilities

• At least 3 years of development experience writing, testing, refactoring, and reviewing both front-end and back-end code.
• Practical knowledge of languages and platforms such as Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Comfortable working with relational databases like MySQL and Postgres.
• Familiarity with MVC frameworks/patterns and a deep understanding of architecture.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git/BitBucket.
• Experience working with application lifecycle management tools like Jira.
• Experience in building, maintaining, and supporting cloud environments like AWS.
