Backend Engineer - Financial Engineering

We’re looking for a mid-level engineer to join our Financial Engineering platform team that owns Spotify’s financial booking infrastructure. We build and operate the systems that turn royalties into official financial records and keep financial data flowing reliably across the company. This role offers hands-on experience with business-critical platforms that help finance teams close the books accurately and scale Spotify’s business.

What You'll Do

Build and maintain backend services and data pipelines that support financial booking and reporting.

Work on systems that move and transform financial data across internal platforms and enterprise finance tools.

Contribute to the design, implementation, and operation of reliable, production-grade systems.
