Overview
We're hiring a Backend Engineer on a 1-year contract for a client engagement. You'll design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and RESTful APIs, building high-performance services, integrating with databases and external systems, and ensuring reliability, security, and code quality through testing and best practices.
What You'll Do
Design and build scalable backend services and RESTful APIs
Develop and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot
Integrate with relational and/or NoSQL databases and external systems
Ensure service reliability, performance, and security (authentication/authorization, API security best practices)
Write clean, maintainable code with strong test coverage (JUnit/Mockito)
Participate in code reviews and contribute to design discussions
