Backend Software Engineer (AI Systems & Automation)

We’re looking for an AI-enabled, product-minded Backend Software Engineer to strengthen the technical foundation of a global, digital-first higher education institution.

This is not a traditional backend role. We are looking for someone who actively integrates AI into production systems and thinks in terms of product architecture, scalability, and long-term resilience. You should be backend-leaning, comfortable owning systems end-to-end, and capable of identifying gaps and proposing improvements without waiting for direction.

AI usage must go beyond personal productivity. You must have hands-on experience integrating AI into live systems and production workflows, including practical experience using Claude Code or similar AI coding copilots in real development environments .

This role requires full alignment with US working hours.
