Backhoe Operator

We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Backhoe Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating backhoe equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate backhoe equipment safely and efficiently
• Dig trenches for utilities, foundations, and drainage systems
• Load and move soil, gravel, and other materials
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Follow site plans, blueprints, and supervisor instructions
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Assist with other construction duties as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid heavy equipment operator certification (preferred)
• 2+ years of experience operating a backhoe
