- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES_
- Perform daily monitoring and management of the backup environment.
- Perform problem management and incident correlation on re-occurring issues.
- Create and update documentation for backup environments.
- Be an escalation point on all backup issues.
- Access to high class technologies
- Provide 24x7 IT operations support in a team on a rotation and on-call basis.
- Perform change management and incident management for backup and archiving infrastructure.
- Technical Skills_
- Experience of 5 to 8 years.
- Backup administration skills on Veeam, Veritas Netbackup, HP StoreOnce backup
solutions.
- Ability to understand the architectural complexities, implement and provide
recommendations to improve, standardize and stabilize the environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Diagnosis and Investigation of incidents
- Participate at MIM (Major Incidents)
