Key Responsibilities
Item Packing: Sorting and bagging groceries according to weight and fragility (e.g., heavy cans on the bottom, eggs and bread on top).
Customer Service: Greeting customers warmly, answering basic questions about store layout, and thanking them for their business.
Carry-out Service: Offering and providing assistance to customers by loading bags into their vehicles.
Cart Retrieval: Regularly patrolling the parking lot to collect shopping carts and return them to the designated indoor area.
Spill & Safety Response: Monitoring for spills or broken glass and cleaning them immediately to ensure a safe walking path for customers.
Return-to-Shelf: Returning unwanted items (go-backs) to their correct aisles and ensuring perishable items are chilled immediately.
Price Checks: Running to the aisles to verify prices or retrieve replacement items for the cashier.
