Baker

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Contributes in creating a welcoming and positive customer experience at the bakery counter
2. Assists in weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients
3. Rotationally assigned in inventory of stocks/supplies and checking expiration dates/best before dates
4. Reports to senior baker and executive chef on matters regarding production and operations.
5. Maintains visual appeal, good quality and the availability of baked goods on display and reports it to immediate superior in a timely manner
6. Maintains clean and tidy bakery counter and production area
7. Carry out before and after care. e.g.; cleaning the kitchen after business hours and preparing it for next day operations
8. Assists Head Baker on other duties that may be assigned from time to time
