Job Description
Magnolia Bakery, now known as M Bakery, is an iconic New York-based bakery franchise that opened its first Southeast Asian branch in Manila, Philippines, in August 2018, bringing its famous banana pudding, cupcakes, and other baked goods to the city. The franchise is run by Phil Jacobe Ventures and aims to bring a taste of New York to the Philippines with a homey atmosphere and a curated menu that includes some flavors exclusive to the Filipino palate.
As Baker's duties include preparing ingredients by accurately measuring and mixing them, shaping dough, and baking various items like breads, pastries, and cakes.
Requirements: Minimum 2 years of commercial baking experience in a bakery or restaurant environment
Essential skills: Proficiency in bread making techniques, pastry preparation, cake decorating, and operating commercial baking equipment
Required: Valid food safety certification and knowledge of HACCP principles
