Job Summary

The Bakery Assistant supports daily operations of the supermarket bakery department by preparing, packaging, displaying, and replenishing baked goods while delivering excellent customer service. This role ensures product freshness, cleanliness, food safety compliance, and an attractive presentation of bakery items to drive customer satisfaction and sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, baking, and finishing of breads, pastries, cakes, and other bakery products according to company recipes and standards.
• Package, label, and price bakery products accurately.
• Replenish displays and ensure products are rotated using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations, display cases, and storage areas in compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
