An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse to join the Health Access Team for asylum seekers within Swansea Bay Health Board.

The Health Access Team is a nurse led service which has evolved over time in response to asylum seekers complex needs and the policy context of service provision. 

The Health Access Team provide a holistic, person centred approach in assessment of an individual's physical and emotional well-being, promotes healthy behaviours and delivers public health services. The team signposts and refers to services, voluntary support and translated health information. 

The Health Access Team act as advocate for individuals and represents the needs of asylum seekers in a variety of strategic forums.
