ABOUT THE ROLE 

 We are looking to recruit on behalf of a young man living in his own home who is supported by a team of dedicated support workers. This young man requires 24/7 support to enable him to live the life he chooses while also maintaining his wellbeing and independence within his local community. His family are very close by and offer their support to the team. 

 Duties will include but are not limited to the following 

 Supporting with Personal care 

 Supporting to attend activities. 

 Supporting with general cleaning of the home 

 Preparing meals 

 Supporting the client to go shopping.

 Learning the client’s communication style and engaging with him this way. 

 Administration of medication 

 Ensuring the clients choice is promoted.
