Bar Supervisor

STAFF MANAGEMENT

• Hiring and Training: Recruit, interview, hire, and train all bar and floor staff, including bartenders, servers, and potentially billiard attendants.
• Scheduling: Create effective work schedules and manage shifts to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours, special events, and sports games.
• Leadership and Motivation: Lead by example, foster a positive work environment, and motivate the team to provide excellent customer service.
• Performance Management: Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and handle any disciplinary actions or conflicts among staff.

OPERATIONS AND INVENTORY

• Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels for beverages, food (if applicable), and bar supplies, placing orders and negotiating with suppliers to control costs and minimize waste.
