Barback-Modern California Bistro & Lounge opening

Objective/Purpose of the Position The Barback is the engine that keeps the bar running , ensuring the bar is fully stocked, immaculately clean, and ready to deliver excellent service through the busiest moments of the night.

The Barback works closely with the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and bar team to uphold service standards, responsible alcohol service, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Tasks/Responsibilities Bar Support Stock, restock, and rotate beer, wine, spirits, mixers, garnishes, ice, and glassware throughout service.

Participate in weekly inventory Anticipate bartenders’ needs in real time during high-volume service — keep wells full and stations clean.

Cut, prep, and replenish fresh garnishes, juices, syrups, and other batched components to recipe.

Change kegs, swap CO2 tanks, and assist with basic draft system maintenance.
