Job Description

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Station Setup & Stocking: Setting up the cooking line with ingredients, utensils, and supplies before service.
  • Food Preparation (Prep): Washing, chopping, slicing, mixing ingredients, and preparing sauces for dishes.
  • Cooking & Plating: Cooking menu items to specific recipes and standards (grilling, frying, sautéing) and plating them for presentation.
  • Quality Control: Ensuring food quality, proper temperature, portion control, and handling customer allergies/intolerances.
  • Hygiene & Safety: Maintaining strict cleanliness, sanitizing surfaces, storing food properly, and following health codes.
  • Teamwork & Communication: Working with other kitchen staff (chefs, servers) to ensure smooth, timely service.
  • Inventory Management: Monitoring stock, restocking items, and completing inventory logs.
