Barista

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality coffees, teas, and specialty beverages
• Provide warm, attentive customer service to students and guests
• Handle cash or POS systems accurately and professionally
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the café and service areas
• Assist with stocking, inventory, and simple food preparation
• Create a calm, friendly environment that encourages social connection
• Build positive relationships with students and anticipate their preferences

Skills and Competencies

Experience as a Barista or in a café/food-service setting

Strong customer-service and communication skills

Ability to work in a calm, organised manner

Knowledge of hygiene and food safety practices

Qualifications
National Senior Certificate

Must have 3-5 years experinace in similar role
