Key Responsibilities
Prepare and grill various yakitori dishes (chicken, seafood, and vegetables) to perfection using Japanese techniques.
Ensure all ingredients are properly prepared, marinated, and cooked according to restaurant standards.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the grilling area and kitchen equipment at all times.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering ingredients when necessary.
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
Uphold high standards of food safety, quality, and presentation.
Contribute ideas for menu improvement or seasonal yakitori specials.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Yakitori Chef or in a Japanese restaurant (grill section experience preferred).
Knowledge of traditional Japanese grilling techniques and ingredients.
Strong attention to detail, with excellent knife and grilling skills.
