Beverage Developer

My international client with offices in Paarl is seeking to employ a Beverage Developer whose role will include developing new recipes for customer- and innovation projects, matching products, and further development of existing recipes.

Duties & Responsibilities

Form part of a team in the Beverage Application Laboratory that must meet project goals by developing commercially viable products, preparing application samples, recording information, and creating documentation accurately. The focus will be on non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, juices, energy drinks, etc.

• Preparation of application samples and performing analytical checks on development samples.
• Selecting and sampling flavours for customer requirements.
• Research of new ingredients.
• Develop formulations, keeping costs and raw material sustainability in mind, and liaising with QA, Sourcing, and Production departments in this respect.
