BHU Nurse Practitioner Inpatient Psychiatric Service - PRN

Employee will be under the programmatic supervision of the Director of Medical Services. APRN will maintain a collaborating physician and supervisory agreement for the purpose of prescribing medication as required by the Kentucky Board of Nursing.


+ Conduct psychiatric evaluations.

+ Provide medications/prescription management; and complete reports and related documentation to health care facilities.

+ Maintain a KASPER account with a delegate.

+ Perform psychiatric review and sign all treatment plans as required by regulatory and funding agencies.

+ Psychiatric consultations

+ Admission psychiatric histories within regulatory time frames.

+ Diagnosis

+ Administer injectable medications as indicated.

+ Prepare and update treatment plans, goals, and objectives.

+ Participate in discharge planning and referrals.
