Western University’s Faculty of Information and Media Studies is looking for a Project Coordinator to manage the Homosaurus Collective focusing on the Queer Community. Candidates will ideally possess at least a Master's level in linguistics or gender studies, along with expertise in translation and a commitment to LGBTQ+ issues. Your role will include translating terms and collaborating with Spanish organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish relationships with Spanish terminology institutions
• Translate Homosaurus vocabulary into relevant Spanish languages
• Propose relationships for controlled vocabulary terms
• Draft progress reports and final project summaries
• Lead project coordination and phase management
