Bilingual Registered Nurse

The Bilingual Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, patient-centered care within acute and community healthcare settings. The RN works collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for diverse patient populations.

Bilingual capability (English + French) is required to support patient communication and service delivery across Nova Scotia.

Clinical Care

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments (physical, psychosocial, cultural)
  
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
  
• Administer medications and treatments safely
  
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition
  
• Provide bedside care across assigned units (e.g., medical-surgical, ER, long-term care)

• Apply critical thinking in high-acuity and rapidly changing environments
