Position Overview

Bilingual Senior Life UnderwriterLocation: Any Canadian Location, CAEmpire Life is looking for a Senior Bilingual Underwriter to join our Retail Underwriting team. The Senior Life Underwriter maintains Company profitability through favourable mortality by reviewing and assessing the financial risk of individual life insurance applications. The incumbent works under the general supervision of the Manager, Underwriting, guided by defined goals and objectives.

Compensation

The total target compensation (TTC) range for permanent roles is $78,698 – $125,350, including salary and target bonus. Fixed‑term contracts and casual roles receive only a base salary and are not eligible for annual bonus.

• Assesses risk accurately to an approval limit of $2,000,000 – $3,000,000 for individual life and $1,000,000 for critical illness policies
