The speech language pathologist is responsible for screening, assessing, and identifying students with communication disorders that adversely affect their educational progress. The speech language pathologist develops and provides direct services within the student’s educational setting according to the goals and objectives of the student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP). The speech language pathologist collaborates with other classroom teachers and related service providers in the development and implementation of services, ensuring that the student’s needs are met in all school settings. There are four positions available for the school year.
Qualifications
- Current and valid PEL with a Speech Language Pathologist endorsement.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write fluently in Spanish.
