Billing Specialist

I am seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Billing Specialist to join our revenue cycle team. This role is responsible for preparing, submitting, and following up on insurance claims while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reimbursement. The ideal candidate has a strong background in healthcare billing, understands payer requirements, and can collaborate effectively with internal teams to optimize billing workflows.
Responsibilities:
•Prepare, review, and submit claims to insurance companies and third-party payers.
•Review patient accounts for accuracy and completeness prior to billing.
•Ensure proper coding of procedures and diagnoses (ICD-10, CPT).
