Job Description
Overview
The BIM Engineer plays a critical role within the Digital Project Delivery (DPD) team, supporting project teams to develop, manage and deliver multi-disciplinary BIM standards and digital strategies. The role provides technical expertise in implementing, developing, and managing a successful BIM process from Pre-contract through to project delivery and handover.
The BIM Engineer works closely with project teams, sub-contractors, and design consultants to ensure compliance with company-wide BIM standards, optimise digital workflows, and enhance project delivery outcomes.
Responsibilities
Pre-Contract Stage
Support the review of Employer’s Information Requirements (EIR) and development of BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and associated documents (MPDT, MIDP, TIDP, SCDC assessments).
Review 3D BIM models received at tender stage for federation, engineering checks, clash detection, logistics, and cost analysis...
