Bioinformatics Researcher

Dissecting the role of mobile elements in nervous system evolution and nematode adaptation.

Training and tasks will consist on identifying, annotating and analyzing transposable elements’ distribution in different species and populations of nematodes.

Requirements:

• A degree and a Master in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biology, Biotechnology or related bioscience-related degree.

Additional merits

• PhD is not required but will be considered
• Experience with high-performance computing or use of clusters (SLURM)
• Additional education, courses or workshops.
• Publication record and/or contributions to congresses.
• English knowledge.

1 year contract, with possibility of extension
