Biologist 2

HDR seeks a Biologist 2 to support environmental permitting, compliance monitoring, and wildlife, vegetation, and/or aquatic surveys across western Canada. The role involves permitting, monitoring, field surveys, and reporting for transportation, water, and natural resources projects, including rail, pipeline, linear developments, and mining.

Responsibilities

Plan and carry out field work, conduct focused surveys and habitat assessments, coordinate with regulatory agencies, prepare technical reports for clients and regulators, and perform other project‑related duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Environmental monitoring experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Multidisciplinary experience in wildlife, vegetation, and soils
