Job Description:

Purpose

Responsible for ensuring the accuracy, safety, and reliability of all biomedical and laboratory equipment used in clinical and diagnostic operations. This role supports healthcare services by conducting regular calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of biomedical devices. The Biomed ensures that all equipment is fully functional and compliant with regulatory and safety standards, thereby maintaining the quality and safety of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and preventive maintenance on medical and laboratory equipment.
• Ensure traceability of calibration standards and compliance with ISO/IEC 17025.
• Document all work, including calibration results, service logs, and corrective actions.
• Identify and tag equipment that is non-conforming, unsafe, or due for servicing.
