Biomedical Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Maintenance & Repair
• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair biomedical equipment
• Respond promptly to service requests
• Equipment Installation & Calibration
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new devices
• Conduct acceptance testing and initial calibration
• Ensure equipment meets safety and performance standards
• Safety & Compliance
• Follow safety, infection control, and electrical standards
• Ensure compliance with DOH, FDA, NFPA, and other regulations
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Documentation & Inventory
• Maintain service records, calibration logs, and schedules
• Manage spare parts and equipment inventory
• Update records in the CMMS
• User Training & Support
• Train hospital staff on proper device operation
