Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and enforce farm biosecurity protocols and SOPs
• Define biosecurity zones and ensure compliance
• Update procedures based on emerging disease risks
• Implement surveillance systems for early disease detection
• Coordinate vaccination programs and routine health checks
• Investigate outbreaks and apply containment measures
• Maintain accurate health records and reports
• Oversee sanitation and disinfection of facilities, equipment, and vehicles
• Enforce entry protocols, including hygiene and protective measures
• Manage pest control for rodents, insects, and wild birds
• Train staff on biosecurity practices and conduct drills
• Regulate access and movement of personnel, animals, vehicles, and materials

• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Agriculture, Veterinary Technology, or Animal Health Management.
