Biosecurity Passenger Facilitator – Wellington
Role type: Permanent, part-time (0.4 FTE – 16 hours per week)
Location: Wellington International Airport
Starting salary: $60,882 per annum pro rata for part-time hours (approximately $29.27 per hour)
Start date: 6 July 2026 – 1‑week full‑time training, Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 4:30 pm.
About the Role
The Biosecurity Passenger Facilitator is a front‑line role that engages directly with international travellers and returning New Zealanders to ensure a seamless and pleasant experience through the biosecurity‑controlled area. The role involves supporting biosecurity staff with tasks such as treatment administration, processing, bin and stock replenishment, data entry, inspection assistance, and cleaning of personal effects.
