Assist and receive instructions from the Blaster or Manager Hand charging, charging up the holes according to the instructions from the Blaster Measuring the blasting area Ensure that all the people at work are aware that the blasting is about to start Communicate with personnel effectively in order that instructions are carried out properly Perform any reasonable tasks assigned to him/her by the Blaster or Manager Carry out an inspection daily in his/her section Report near misses and other potential hazards Clean up hydrocarbon spills Ensure that protective devices are in good condition Ensure that the working areas maintain high levels of good housekeeping Skills and Knowledge Willing to work weekends and public holidays Successfully complete medical evaluation Sound knowledge of blasting assistant duties Absolutely no previous criminal record Maintain good relations with co workers #J-18808-Ljbff...
