Introduction SANBS has an opportunity for a Blood Bank Technician who will perform routine testing functions (manual and automated) in blood banks including but not limited to, compatibility, post natal and preliminary transfusion reaction investigation. 
Key Performance Areas Achieve Operational Objectives. 
Instrument and Laboratory Maintenance objectives in accordance with SOP specifications. 
Achieve Quality compliance in accordance with SOP specifications. 
Ensure general functions have been carried out within specified timeframes 
Quality and Risk objectives 
General Functions 
Customer Relations 
Job Specific Requirements Overtime as and when required
